My Sweet Son...Mufeez

In your eyes I can see destiny,
I can't believe that you are part of me,
You have been carved so creatively,
My lovely son Mufeez!!

The feeling of becoming a mother is something which one cannot describe. You have a part of yourself crawling all over and you just cannot think of anything else other than your kid. I still remember the feeling when he was born. Ah!! Hearing his cries, I could not control my tears. It was a moment which I will not forget till I die. As they say, "A mothers love is unconditional ". I have now understood that it is so true. I have realized this only after becoming a mother. My mother often used to remind me this that you will understand only after you have a child.

Mufeez is now 3.4 years old and he is a very active and energetic boy by god's grace. He loves playing with cars and his dad buys a car for him almost on a daily basis. Mufeez has a sweet tooth and loves chocolates and ice creams. He has started going to school and surprisingly does not make any tantrums to go to school.
He loves going to his paternal grandparents house in HBR layout and loves to ride the cycle there. He is very attached to his uncle Moid and his grandpa. He is also pampered a lot by everyone because of his intellectual and funny answers.

As both his parents are working (dad as an Implementation manager and mom as a Senior technical writer), he spendsthe entire day with his maternal grandma who takes care of him well. At times he gets very cranky and goes out to watch kids playing which annoys everyone.
The main thing that worries us is Mufeez has a problem called PICA. Due to this disorder he eats chalk, washing powders, soaps, crayons, wall paints and so on. This problem has passed on from me to Mufeez because as a child even I had this problem. When I was carrying him, I used to get these weird cravings of eating a chalk, washing powder and even kerosene oil :). I know it sounds awful but research shows that this disorder affects one in three people. We have consulted doctors and they have prescribed calcium and iron medicines for him. Hope this problem reduces as he grows.
